Current Standings
The adjustments are made using an online age-graded results calculator. The effects don’t come in until 35, so if you are younger than this, your times won’t change. The age-adjusted times are used to put runners in a revised race order. Points are then assigned according to race position (1 point for first, 2 for second, and so on) separately for men and women.
See the below table for detailed race results
and current standings.
Club Championship Winners

Well done to all our winners for 2025, prizes were presented at our Annual New Year Party.
See below for last years standings and our Hall of Fame:
Format:
The championship is based around 12 local races, typically one per month. In addition members can also submit their best 5K race and/or marathon times for the year. These will be age adjusted with the 5K race and marathon times each then scored in the same way as an individual race at the end of the year (using your age on the day of the race). This means there are a total of 14 chances to score points.
5k times will need to be from an official race, such as the Yeovilton series. Parkruns are not now included.
Season:
The ‘Club Champs season’ runs from the 1st of January for any Marathon or 5k results and finishes on the Sunday following our Internal race, the Stur 5. That allows the final results to be processed and trophies engraved in time for our Annual Presentation evening at the club Christmas Party.
Qualifying:
To qualify for an award, you must have participated in (and finished) at least 5 of the events (out of the 14 available opportunities to score described above). The points from your best 5 race results are then added up, and the lower your overall total is, the better you have done.
There are separate bunny rabbit awards for the three best men and three best women
Post your results from Strava, Garmin etc on the Doddler Members Facebook page (alerting Rich White to their presence) or email them directly to Rich – results@dorsetdoddlers.org
