I would like to thank all those who ran in and supported the race this year.

I also would like to offer an apology to all competitors who experienced problems with picking up their number on the day. The record entry and new on-line registration system caused some teething problems which we will endeavour to iron out for next year. Similarly, this had a knock on effect for issuing memento t-shirts at the end. Nevertheless, I will be making sure that the handful of people who left without a well earned t-shirt will be given one as soon as possible.

Apart from these inconveniences, I was proud and grateful for the army of volunteers who give their time to make this event a success. I feel that this year’s race was another enjoyable and rewarding event for competitors and I look forward to continued support in 2010.
